"Dana was a massive blessing to my work in a Thai Government orphanage for disabled children for three years, and she was sorely missed when she returned to the USA. Dana, with her great knowledge, was able to help me develop stretching programmes and think up ideas of how to gain balance and improve walking gait. Dana loved the children in my group. They adored her, waiting with anticipation for the arrival of her car and squealing with delight on first seeing her walk towards them. Dana used her training in cranio-sacral therapy and myofascial release to ease constipation and reduce tightness in hips and spines of two students. She sought AFOs and checked them for two other children, and even sought and imported an adaptive tricycle which is still used today...she has been a support, even from the USA, in relieving concerns I've had by suggesting further exercises for the children and myself. At times when I had to go back to my home country of England, I knew that on the days she was there, the children would get a good workout. Her knowledge of which muscles, tendons, etc . needed strengthening to aid progress was one of the biggest helps. She was wonderful in the frustrating and sad times too. I thank Dana for her willingness to give up her time to volunteer with me, and for her knowledge she shared."

"Working with Dana Stehwien was truly a life-changing experience for our family. We still utilize plans and techniques that Dana introduced to my son years ago. Dana's skills, personality and professionalism have set the bar for all our son's therapist to be measured by."

"I have two boys with multiple disabilities and they both required physical therapy after major orthopedic surgery. Dana Stehwien started seeing my sons after our release from the hospital. She was always coming up with inventive ways to encourage and push them to be more independent. Her positive approach to every visit made their recovery seem less overwhelming to all of us. I would highly recommend Dana for all of your physical therapy needs".

"We have a 3 year old, Lylah, with Down Syndrome who Dana has been working with for a long time! Dana does a phenomenal job motivating and distracting Lylah to do exercises to help build strength. A few things I love about Able Kids:
- Dana comes to our house! It not only saves me one more place to go (carting my 15 mo along) but also Dana shows me how to practice Lylah's exercises at our house. When we used to go to a place, we couldn't imitate what Lylah did in PT because we didn't have the same stuff at our house.
- Able Kids takes insurance!
-Dana is very flexible with appointment times. She worked around my husband and I working full time. She is always on time with smiles and ready to go.
-Dana brings equipment to help Lylah and the skills are very catered to Lylah's needs. She takes time to explain to me how to do things so I can practice through the week, but spends most of the time really working with Lylah
I would highly recommend using Able kids for your PT needs. It has been such a blessing to our family and has really helped and will continue to help Lylah."
